Internationally acclaimed Israeli pianist, Dorel Golan, made a lasting impression on her audience at a piano recital at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. The recital, held on 18 April, was presented by the Consulate General of Israel in Hong Kong and with the support of Hong Kong resident, Michel Jospe.

Golan selected a programme that fully demonstrated her range and talent. The programme included: Clementi - Sonata in F Sharp Minor, Rachmaninov - Moments Musicaux Op.16, No.1&2 and Bach/Busoni - Chorale Prelude in G minor.

Most notably, she was the winner of the prestigious Young Artists Competition (YAC) and the Best Recital Special Merit Prize Jerusalem 2006.

She is currently a graduate student of Prof. Arie Vardi at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music and has won several international prizes as well and has performed with orchestras around the world.
