Choreographer Roni Chadash showcased at Unfolding Kafka Festival 2017 E-mail

Israeli dancer and choreographer Roni Chadash performed her solo dance piece Goofy at the Unfolding Kafka Festival 2017 Thailand in November.

The festival is a biennial event that showcases outstanding artistic trends in the field of contemporary art in Thailand. The organisers invite both local and international artists to participate. This year’s event took place in Bangkok (3-22 November) and Chiang Mai (24- 25 November), and Chadash performed in both cities.

“To the woman he said...and your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you.” Genesis 3:16. “A pointless attempt of understanding when I lost my innocence and how my amorphous body transformed into the known and common creature called a woman.” Roni Chadash.

Chadash, 26, was born and raised in Israel, where she received her education in dance. She started her path as a professional dancer at the Vertigo International Workshop, and later worked at the Gaaton Workshop for professional dancers. After finishing her studies she moved to Tel Aviv, where she started working with several Israeli choreographers, including Maya Brinner, Odelya Kuperberg, Sally Ann-Friedland and Inbal Oshman.
