Israeli artist’s work on show in Bangkok E-mail

The Queen’s Art Gallery in Bangkok recently showcased 17 internationally renowned artists hailing from 10 different countries across three different continents. One of them was the Israeli artist Yoav Brener.

The exhibition, on show from 26 October to 5 November, was part of an effort to promote the flourishing contemporary art scene in Bangkok by encouraging the appreciation and use of public art spaces.

It also pays homage to the five-storey exhibition space, a part of the Queen Mother’s initiative of promoting Thai art.

Brener’s artistic style is expressive, and his paintings are characterised by flawless brushwork, vibrant colour, strong compositions and bold forms that convey an alluring sense of depth, dimension and expansiveness that “provide the viewer with infinite opportunities to imagine and explore”.
