Israeli break-dancers and South Korean ‘poppers’ team up for dance performance E-mail

As reported by i24news, Israeli and Korean dancers teamed up to stage a collaborative performance in the Israeli city of Herzliya in July after two months of rehearsal.

Israeli collective The Urban Project, the winners of Breakdance Battle of Israel in 2015, performed alongside another group for the first time.

“We took our dance and we put the Korean style in it,” said Nir Aderet, a member of Urban Project, told i24news.

The idea came to action after South Korea’s Ambassador to Israel, Yong Hwan Choi, invited Korean dance squad Animation Crew to perform in Israel.
