Jewish-Hindu conference promotes tolerance and understanding E-mail

The World Council for Religious Leadership (WCRL) organised a historic summit between Hindu and Jewish leaders in New Delhi on 6-7 February. This event was the first time the two groups officially met in order to promote understanding, tolerance, and peaceful conflict resolution throughout the region.

The delegations discussed a wide range of topics including the relevance of tradition in everyday life, similarities and differences between the two religions, and education.
