Anne Frank's story makes a strong impression on Hong Kong E-mail
Hong Kong students visit the Anne Frank exhibition

The Anne Frank exhibition has made its mark in Hong Kong and on Asia in general. From 8 November through 9 December 2007, nearly 4,500 local and international students, as well as 1,500 other local visitors, made their way through the exhibit. For many it was the first time that they had heard of Anne Frank and the Holocaust.

They walked away forever changed from the experience. “Anne Frank is my hero”, “There should be no more hate”, “I wish I could have known her”, “We can not kill people anymore because they are different” are some of the messages they wrote on their Leaves of Hope after walking through the Photographic Diary.
