Non-traditional Israeli couple uses Indian surrogate E-mail

It is reported that two Israeli men have become the first known same-sex couple to ‘father’ children through Mumbai’s growing surrogacy programmes.

The couple’s twins, a boy and a girl, were reportedly born in September at Hiranandani Hospital and taken home to Israel.
Infertility specialist Dr Gautam Allahbadia of Rotunda Clinic, Centre for Human Reproduction indicated that the surrogacy programme is growing in popularity. It is estimated that between 100-150 babies are born each year to surrogates in India.
