Guinness World Records has officially confirmed that the attempt by 276 individuals made up from the Hong Kong Jewish community to form a Magen David human star is a world record.

On 10 May 2011, at Discovery Bay College, Hong Kong, a human star, was organised by the Hong Kong Jewish (Scouts) Tzofim Group with the co-operation of Israel’s Consulate. The day was to celebrate Israel’s 63rd Independence Day which included many other activities making it a family fun-day.
