Vietnam and Israel collaborate in youth business startup initiative E-mail

The Vietnam Youth Union’s Supporting Centre for Youth’s Startup, in collaboration with the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam, organised an online Startup Hunt contest. It ran from 5 July to 29 August to promote startup and innovation in tourism.

At the press conference held in Hanoi, Nguyen Thi Thu Van (Vice President of the Vietnam Youth’s Union) said that the contest addresses the youth startup scheme which, from 2019 to 2022, aims to encourage initiatives for local tourism development while generating youths’ innovation and interest in the tourism sector.

Twenty of the strongest individuals or groups selected to the semi-final round received consultancy to complete their products in two weeks, before sending them out to the organizing board via You Tube links.
