Thailand and Israel sign medical co-operation agreement Print

On 28 July, the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital and Israel’s Hadassah Medical Organisation signed an agreement for academic co-operation on elderly diseases.

The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Don Poramudwinai, Thai ambassador in Tel Aviv Angsana Sihapitak and Israel’s Ambassador to Thailand Simon Roded.

The two nations have been exchanging medical knowledge since 2013. The Thai embassy in Tel Aviv, which initiated the co-operation, invited medical personnel from the Hadassah Medical Organisation to discuss and share their views on the subject, observe medical services for the elderly and meet with hospital executives at Ramathibodi Hospital.
