The Embassy of Israel in Bangkok will present a beautiful photograph exhibition entitled “The Shadow of Jerusalem” by Israeli art photographer Leonid Padrul. The exhibition will be showcased in June at the National Gallery, Chao Fah Road. Padrul will also lead workshops in Bangkok on 4 June and 6 June 2008.

This collection represents ten year’s of Padrul’s work highlighting the landscape of the Dead Sea, which biblically is referred to as, ‘The Shadow of Jerusalem’. His photographs capture the beauty of nature through a dreamlike artistic vision. Leonid Padrul immigrated to Israel in 1994 from the Ukraine. His works are divided in to two distinct periods, before and after his immigration.
