Renowned Holocaust survivor and writer visits Seoul E-mail

Arnost Lustig was in South Korea and gave a speech at the Israeli Cultural Center in Seocho-dong in September.

The lessons learned from the horrors of the Holocaust are as relevant to South Korea as anywhere because they are “universal,” he told a recent gathering in Seoul.

Speaking at the Israeli Culture Center, the Czech born author said that all readers, whether American, Korean or Czech, should get the same message from his writing.
