Ruth Shani journeyed back to China to open her exhibition, Back to China with love, in Beijing in March. To her this is a journey come full circle, returning to China, her home as a World War II refugee.

Israeli Music Rocks Surin, Thailand E-mail

The Deputy Chief of Mission of the Israeli Embassy in Thailand, Ms. Idit Shamir, and an Israeli music producer Danny Recht broadcasted a wide range of popular Israeli music on Thailand’s MCOT radio station. The three-hour programme, hosted by DJ Rungtawan, played throughout Surin, a north-eastern province.
