Philip Roth Awarded The PEN/Nabokov Award |

Philip Roth winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 1997 for his novel American Pastoral and two time winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award, the PEN/Faulkner Award, and the National Book Award, has now been awarded the PEN/Nabokov award.
Roth is the author of 27 books, most of which have Jewish characters or Jewish subject matter.

Singapore Indie Documentary Festival Features Israeli-Born Dror |

In Singapore, the second annual S’pore Indie Documentary Festival will feature The Journey of Vaan Nguyen on 10 March.
Duki Dror, the film’s director and creator, recounts the journey of a boat-person who fled Vietnam after the fall of Saigon and found asylum in Israel.

Berlin Film Festival Award Three Jewish Directors |

The Berlinale Special, an official part of the International Berlinale Film Festival’s programming, featured a screening of I Have Never Forgotten You- The Life and Legacy of Simon Wiesenthal. This gala screening included never seen before archival material as well as exclusive on camera interviews of many of Wiesenthal’s closest family members, friends and colleagues.
