All the fun of the jewellery fair with IDI E-mail

The Israel Diamond Institute (IDI), represents well over 2000 companies in the Israeli diamond and manufacturing sector and selectively looks at opportunities and initiatives for its members to develop new customers around the world.

One of its main objectives is for the IDI brand to participate at major jewellery and diamond fairs. This year IDI will have a presence in 13 major shows around the world.

IDI has just participated for the first time in the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair which was held in February with a national pavilion hosting twelve Israeli leading diamond companies. Although Israeli diamonds are not new to the Thailand market, this is the first time that an official Israeli Diamond Pavilion, organised by IDI attended the show.

Nissim Palomo, IDI Deputy Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer, believes that the Thai market is ripe for expanding trade with the Israeli Diamond Industry. “Throughout Asia, diamond jewellery is becoming more and more popular. The Thai consumer is no exception and actively seeks the glamour of diamonds and other luxury items. We are looking forward to a good experience at this show and expect it to be the first of many,” he said.
