Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd (IAI) signed a contract on 26 August to supply its TAME Range, the Cyber Range training platform and certification for cyber warfare teams, to Japan’s Dai Nippon Printing (DNP). Tokyo-based DNP, a leader in publication printing, documentation security and software security products, will become a reseller of IAI’s Cyber Range in Japan. The TAME Range allows a realistic cyber warfare training environment to improve the cyber awareness and readiness of cyber defenders. There is currently a need in Japan to train some 80,000 IT personnel so they can prevent cyber-attacks from foreign countries, as well as prepare for the 2020 Olympics. The TAME Range provides its users with authentic, handson training in a controlled environment, using real-world cyber threats. While practising, users gain practical knowledge as they are required to handle actual cyber-attacks – based on the most recently discovered threats. The TAME Range curriculum covers all aspects of cyber warfare, including threat identification, incident management, mitigation and forensics. It provides in-depth training on the tools and techniques that are under a team’s command when a real attack actually occurs. Please login or register to see the full article
