If the Guinness World Record event was not enough to mark Israel’s 63rd Anniversary event, as mentioned on the front page, a whole fun-day of activities for all-ages was organised at the Discovery College campus. Glorious sunshine marked the day.

Organisers of the event included; the Hong Kong Jewish Scouts Group/ Tzofim led by Anna Burd and Yair Osherov. Parents of the Scouts Association, Eliad and Nura Cohen, Melisa Levy and Michal Gordon. As well as students from Elsa High school who were helping. Israel’s Consulate in Hong Kong initiated much of the planning and Chabad provided kosher food.
