Israel’s new ambassador to India E-mail

Israel’s newly-appointed ambassador Alon Ushpiz presented his credentials to President Pratibha Patil and said he looked forward to developing the “important relationship” between India and his country.

Before his current posting, Ushpiz, studied International Relations and Japan Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He served as Minister for Congressional Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in Washington.
