Israel and Bhutan looking to cooperate E-mail

Israel and Bhutan have agreed to cooperate in agriculture, education and health, stated Ambassador Mark Sofer, who presented his credentials as Israel’s Ambassador in India to the Bhutanese royal family, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, in early October.

Ambassador Sofer met with the heads of different ministries to enhance ‘the relationship and cooperation’ in various fields. The ambassador said that Israeli specialists would visit Bhutan together with local specialists, explore ways to enhance production of milk and crops in the country.
