Tourist dies in Thailand E-mail

Yedidya Kellerman, 25, a resident of Nof Ayalon in Israel, was killed in a traffic accident in the town of Pai in northern Thailand in August. Kellerman’s wife Kesem was slightly injured in the accident.

The couple married in July 2017 and embarked on their honeymoon to Asia earlier this year. They began their trip in Vietnam, then continued to the Philippines and then Thailand. While riding a motorcycle they had rented, they were hit by a passing motorcycle. Yedidya was pronounced dead at the scene and Kesem was taken to receive medical attention.

“We are flying to see the world,” the two wrote on their Facebook page before leaving Israel.

Yedidya’s brother Yonatan told Israel’s Ynet that Yedidya was “a happy guy who loved living life to the fullest, he established a wonderful home together with Kesem. Everyone liked him everywhere he went and he was the centre around which his friends and family gathered.”
