The Infinity Venture Capital, a 13-year-old Israeli company, manages more than US$300 million in assets and more than 40 portfolio companies. They are launching a new US$150 million fund of which a significant portion of the fund will invest in Israeli companies that are operating in China.

Weizmann Institute contracts to develop snakebite remedy for Indian company |

Biological E Ltd., an Indian pharmaceutical company, purchased from the Weizmann Institute of Science and Yeda Research and Development Company, the development rights for a product to treat bites from a poisonous snake commonly found in Asia.
The vaccine will be used to treat the venom Bungarus Multicinctus.

Amdocs contracts with Japan's Jupiter |

Amdocs Ltd signed a contract with Jupiter Telecommunications Co. Ltd (J:COM), Japan’s largest cable provider.
Under the contract, Amdocs will provide J:COM with billing and customer relations management services through 2009. The systems integrator will be BillingSoft Japan, Amdocs’ business partner.

Taiwanese Shuttle deal with Israeli Icon TV |

Taiwanese computing installations company Shuttle Inc. has acquired 25.1% of Icon TV Media Ltd. The company is valued at NIS 12.5 million.
Icon TV develops and markets the TVnGo system, making it possible to display Internet content on televisions. Five hundred families in Ra’anana are currently participating in a test protocol of the new system.
