Hewlett Packard purchases Mercury Interactive E-mail

Hewlett Packard purchased Israeli programming company Mercury Interactive Corp. for US$4.5 billion.  It is estimated that the purchase price is about 33 percent higher than the company’s total market value.

Opera Gallery opens Hong Kong to world art E-mail

The Opera Gallery opened its doors in Hong Kong in 2004.  The Gallery already had made a name for itself in its Singapore gallery (1994).

When Shirley Ben Bashat, an Israeli, visited the Opera Gallery in Singapore, she had no idea that she would one day be the General Manager of an Opera Gallery in Hong Kong.  She has been associated with Opera Galleries since the start of her career in Singapore over ten years ago.

Millennium Electric contracts to build Korean power station E-mail

Israeli company, Millennium Electric Limited has contracted with Korean entrepreneur Moon S. Kim, president of High Quality Marketing & Consulting (HQMC), a member of The Kore Group, Inc., for the construction of a solar power station.  

The project’s cost is US$150 million and includes a fifteen-year power supply contract.

Beit Alpha Technologies showcased in China Police Exhibition E-mail

Beit Alpha Technologies, of Kibbutz Beit Alpha, specialising in the development, manufacture, and marketing of anti-riot technologies, signed a new collaboration agreement with an unamed Chinese firm.  

The Chinese company will jointly develop and market vehicles for riot control and dispersal.

Dalumi to open a second factory in Zuhai, China E-mail

Dalumi, an Israeli based diamond manufacturer, has expanded its operations in the production and design of jewellery products. With its wholly owned jewellery factory in Shenzhen, China, the company manufactures top of the line art jewellery for its global business partners.

Dalumi has been fully operational in China since the late 90’s.  Its clients are international private labels, and well-known brands in all the famous luxury-end jewellery stores in major world cities.
