india's “Hitler’s Den” Pool bar still in Play despite concerns E-mail

The use of Nazi and Hitler themes for promotional activities is still on the rise in Asia with the latest renaming of a pool bar in Nagpur, India as ‘Hitler’s Den’.

Nagpur is the largest city in central India and is also a major commercial and political centre deriving importance as the headquarters for the Hindu nationalist organisation and an important location for the Dalit Buddhist movement. So it is more surprising that authorities have not taken notice of the operation.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading International Jewish human rights organisation, is urging leaders of civil society to demand that the owners of “Hitler’s Den” immediately change the name of its establishment.
