The Indian Express, a leading Indian newspaper, recently reported that Rabbi Yakov Dovid and Sara Leiter have applied for long-term visas to live in Mumbai. The visas are reportedly being process by India's Ministry of External Affairs.

The Leiters are the sister and brother-in-law of the Chabad emissary, Rivkah Holtzberg, who was killed in Mumbai along with her husband Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg in the massive terrorist strike in November 2008.
