The Regatta, entering its fourth year, is organised by the Chinese Yachting Association (CYA) and the Executive Office of Organising Committee for the Shenzhen 26th Summer Universiade.

The event took place from 29 October to 1 November in the waters of Shenzhen and Hong Kong. There were four days of racing, with Shenzhen Vanke Longcheer Yacht Club (LYC) hosting the venue for boats and social events.
