The newly founded Jewish Community in Seoul, South Korea recently received their copies of Jewish Times Asia featuring South Korea in the Community Spotlight section.

President of our community, Mr. Pierre Cohen, a twenty-year resident of Seoul, looks over the article with Rabbi Osher Litzman, the new Chabad emissary.

The Jews of Korea have long awaited the birth of a new congregation and they have a number of activities planned for upcoming months.

A Chanukah celebration is scheduled for 21 December 2008 and their website is up and running.

This is a growing community to watch in the future.
