A recent conference in Tel Aviv brought together scientists from Taiwan and Israel in an effort to strengthen bilateral co-operation in life sciences.

The 2nd Bilateral IsraelTaiwan Life Sciences Conference, titled “From Basic to Translational Research in Life Sciences”, was held 7-9 June at Israel’s Tel Aviv University (TAU).

Leading scientists from both sides presented their latest work at the conference. According to Israel’s representative office in Taiwan, this was the largest science event between the two countries to take place in Israel.

Eighteen speakers and poster presenters from Taiwan, as well as other speakers and research students from Israel, attended the conference.
