B’nai B’rith’s World Center is in the process of reviewing their post-tsunami development projects.  These projects are mainly aimed at providing aid to Sri Lanka, which suffered millions in damages.

The development projects require the cooperation of numerous international partners and focus on rehabilitation, training, and rebuilding the country’s southern province, the area hit hardest by the tsunami.

The Jewish Community of Christchurch New Zealand awoke to find itself a victim of a heinous attack.  Explicit graffiti was sprayed in green across the entrance of the community’s synagogue.

The brass plaque on the main gate had swastikas etched into its surface.  Additionally, the plaque was vandalised with the words, “6 million Jews… 40 million people in total. What makes you so special?”
